Digital Controls Enters Joint Venture to Pursue $15 Billion GSA Managed Alliant Small Business Program
DAYTON, OH, December 15, 2006 - Digital Controls Corporation announced today that it has entered into a joint venture to pursue Federal Government IT Services work via the GSA Managed Alliant Small Business (SB) program. This contract vehicle is valued at $15 Billion over ten (10) years. The SB program is a Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for Information Technology Services
GWAC’s are task order contracts for information technology awarded under multiple award contracting procedures and are established by one federal government agency for use by all federal agencies. Three component area skill sets are required to address the Alliant SB program, Infrastructure and Related Services, Application Services and IT Management.
The joint venture being announced today, Federal Technology Alliance LLC (FTA), consists of four small businesses that have the highest level of quality expertise, tools and experience that complement each other very effectively and in such a way as to provide Federal Agencies with a robust option for small business set aside contracts such as the Alliant SB. The four companies that comprise FTA are, Digital Controls, CellExchange Federal, Inc., FYI-Systems, Inc., and TestPros, Inc.
This new joint venture brings together four small businesses with hundreds of years of management experience, said Chuck Landreville, Senior VP of Services for Digital Controls.
