Digital Controls Adds New Director of Development for Federal Contracts
DAYTON, OH, April 2, 2007 - Digital Controls Corporation, formally announced today the hiring of Mark Metzner as the company's Director of Development for Government Contracts and FSO.
Mr. Metzner retired in June 2005 with 36 years Federal Service. Mark served four years of active duty with the United States Marine Corp and 32 years with Defense Logistics Agency, DAASC. Mr. Metzner's last position was as the Director of Infrastructure and Operations for J6D.
As Program Manager for DAASC/J6D, Mr. Metzner had involvement in DLA Enterprise Initiatives - such as Business Systems Modernization (BSM), Enterprise Telecommunications Network (ETN), Enterprise Data Center (EDC), DOD Information Technology Systems Certification and Accreditation Program (DITSCAP), Information Assurance Program Manager, and was a member of the J6 Enterprise Transition Team (JETT) in support of DLA Transition efforts.
Mr. Metzner possesses an in-depth understanding of the Federal Services and Civil Agencies acquisition and procurement programs which will allow him to lead the growth of Federal Contracts work at Digital Controls.
