Incident Analysis
Incident Analysis Services entail a careful examination of the components involved in a security incident event to determine and verify the cause or source(s) responsible for a vulnerability breach/compromise.
An Incident Analysis is performed by a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) who has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage incidents; to understand common attack techniques and tools; and to defend against and/or respond to such attacks when they occur.
By determining the cause, the GCIH will be able to provide recommendations for the current threats to your systems and networks, along with effective countermeasures.
