Information Security Affiliations and Organizations
Digital Controls participates with and sponsors several key security organizations throughout the region and of national reputation which advocate and share security methodologies and principles.
Security Institutions
Organizations like ISC2, SANS Institute, ISACA, ISSA, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Computer Security Division/Computer Security Resource Center are institutions which administer certfication testing and guidelines for proven security technologies. It is these organizations which also provide the foundation for our applied techniques & methodologies.
Security Related Special Interest Groups
Organizations which provide a forum or workshop style presentations for open discussion and sharing of real world experiences include Ohio Information Security Forum (Ohio InfoSec), Technology First (formerly Greater Dayton IT Alliance), and DANPA (Dayton Area Network of Professionals).
Digital Controls regularly participates and sponsors these groups which showcase professional IT talent from vendors, companies and IT providers (like ourselvers) from throughout the region.
